The famous Utah folk trainer of Balkan dances,
Margareth Strickland, attended the event. She has a
folk group Duna in Salt Lake City, UT, and this is her
second event as a member of the Board of Directors
of the International Institute of Anthropology.
Yesterday (March 23, 2007) she represented IIA on
the Conference of the National Folklore Association in
Salt Lake City, UT.
Beyond the exhibit, there was a workshop on Russian dolls
The concert started at 5:00 PM and included a rich
program.

Russian, Bulgarians, Americans and Utah residents attended
the event in the Hall of the Liberty Senior Center.
Tatyana has lived in Salt Lake for 14 years. She came
from Leningrad (today's St Petersburg), Russia
"Moskovskie vechera" v Salt Lake City, Utah
American students from BYU, Provo, UT, came to
see the performance of their friend. They were very
excited.
